Ok, I know this seems crazy at this point, but I'm going to post something on the topic.
Mine's an '09. Alan at SMB West mentioned that after the low fuel light I could count on 10 more gallons of fuel in the tank because of the way the float works.
Low fuel light comes on when the van thinks it has 50 miles to go before empty. I had 10 gallons of diesel with me so I decided to find out the truth.
50 miles later, the computer started to momentarily cut out the engine as if to say, "Hey dude, quit screwing around and get me some fuel before bad things happen."
About 15 miles later I pulled over and filled up. The van took 43 gallons.
One more side note, Scatter appears to be correct about the fix to the tank. After the pump clicks off, if I work at it I can only get one MAYBE two gallons more in depending on the pump.
