Fridge temperature monitor

This one is easy, cheap too. Go to Home Depot, Lowes, etc. and get a wireless indoor/outdoor thermometer kit. Toss the outdoor sensor into the fridge on one of the shelves, stick the monitor display where you like and re-label the display accordingly. You are done.

Now you have an inside van air temp reading as well as inside the fridge so you can drive the fridge temp to the setting you prefer without having the compressor run too often and/or guessing the inside fridge temps.

This one has lasted a couple of years on one set of AA batteries, the display is held to the wall with velcro... I might be lazy.

I've had a couple of these going for over 5 years now. New batteries every couple of years. There are some cheap bluetooth puck options on Amazon these days where you can monitor from your phone but personally I like the displays in the rig like above.

I use the Sensor Push units. Bluetooth to phones and iPad. Alarm feature and date/time graphing through the app. 30 months and still on original battery.
