No Glove - No Love- Help me protect my loved one!

Hello-

I posted this subject on the general area but had little response - so I am giving it a try in this subgroup :

I need help with a brand, style, size, straps and just the general wisdom regarding protecting the most important member of my family in the winter -(not from snow- just rain and elements)

SMB: Ford E-250 1998 (not extended) 18 ft long, 84 inches high, 6 feet wide with Penthouse Pop top. No racks, extened bumpers, ladders or anything "sticking out" (well the antena- but that I can remove)

Any ideas from the SMB brotherhood ?

I appreciate your input!

Thanks,

Wanderbus

I know the search feature isn't the most user friendly but there are a few posts on covers. FWIW I used "van cover sportsmobile forum" in the google search engine to find this link

Have you considered something like this, http://www.overtons.com/modperl/product ... &from=grid
I've stored my boat under one of these for years. It's a little more then twice the cost of the cover I got from SMB but it has lasted four times as long.

That's what I use, but I bought direct from Shelterlogic.com and got taller, longer and upgraded fabric.

Re: No Glove - No Love- Help me protect my loved one!

I am using a stock E350 cover I bought from Jage last year. He bought it from PJPV so it must be 4 or 5 years old. It's getting a bit worn but it keeps my van clean. It's a hassel to put on and remove but it really has saved the van from the weather and the amazing amount of black dust coming from the main street behind our house. I used to have to wash the van BEFORE I drove it.
