Privacy/Sun Screen for Ford E-Series van?

I recently purchased a 2000 E150 GTRV in great condition. It came with a bulky curtain for the front windshield and side windows. Looking to replace with something more easily deployed and less bulky to store.

What types of privacy/sun screens are folks using? Links would be great. Guessing the windshield-mounted rearview mirror on my 2000 vintage is mildly problematic. Thoughts?

Heatshield.com has custom cut pieces for front and side windows. Made in the USA and fit great. We use them all year.

ON Two's thread reference...

As soon as I saw Two's pic of his SMB and the OUTSIDE heat shield...we bought immediately...it came in a couple days and has a great handbag (see-through) carrier to store. There's room to fit my "Skeeter Beater"'s on the side for the complete front windshield/window solution...plus, we are anxiously awaiting to use, bc of the inside heat developed from the inside sunshields and the windshield made it hard to cool down the van...

Not at all. A simple slit down the middle, which many pre-made ones already have, will fit right around your rear view mirror and actually help rather than hinder. It gives the shield something to grab on too, sometimes allowing you to not have to bother folding down your visors every time.

It is super easy to remove the rear view mirror, it just slides on and off the mount that is glued to the windshield. I have had both of versions of the Heatshield window block and much prefer to remove the rear view mirror and use the Heatshield that is designed for no mirror (it keeps the van darker inside).

I might have used a $5 tool to remove the rear view mirror the 1st time, but it is a 2 second install/removal with no tools required now.
