Dave,
Don't know about availability, but they show a 10# version on their website.

Re: Propane tank "Lite"
Yes but that's about a 2 gal tank and is 17" tall, slightly too tall campared to my 1 Gal tank I carry. The only time I pack my 5 gal tank is when I take the propane heater and that tank is only used for heat. The 1 gallon tank is used for lighting, stoves, and the BBQ. I'd have to redesign the back storage...hum..next project?

Re: Propane tank "Lite"
The little ten-pounder is about $110.00+/_ The twenty -pounder is considerably cheaper.

Re: Propane tank "Lite"
OL length 17.25"??? Am I missing something Mike? That 2 " might make a difference.
Rob I saw a video on line of the two in a side by side test. It showed the Camp fire in a can throwing out way more heat. The funny thing is my little red puts out like what the fire in the can showed in the video. Maybe they improved them. One thing for certain is the fake logs need to be subjected to high hear before they quit making a unique plastic like smell.
[Edit] It also looks like the Camp Fire In a Can comes with a cooking grate. I don't know about cooking over mine (don't know how those fake logs will react). The fire in a can looks slightly larger as well. I would spend the extra money for that over what I got but I was lucky to get a closeout price on mine I couldn't pass up. Having a cooking surface is a big advantage. JMO

Re: Propane tank "Lite"
Ah...different manufacture. Didn't see Bill's post. I'll have to wait until I get my van back from the shop.
