Can someone share his experience how it works? From what I understand I have to remove the fuel inlet, then loosen up all body mounts, lift the body up by 1/2“ and swap em out?! Is that all?

I also watched a video on youtube for F-series and they mentioned not to use an impact?!

Any insight/ video/ warning welcome!
I wouldn't recommend you do it that way, you could run into misaligning/shifting the frame to the body and get the stupid crab effect. Surprisingly, its very common!

What I would do instead is do one side at a time and gently lift the body on that side just enough to replace the body mounts. Mark the frame to body at key clear places of your choice and make sure frame/body don't shift. Tighten back up to correct torque (don't use your 1/2" impact and compress the bushing) and move on to the other side. Mine was 70 ft.lb. from memory. Look it up and be sure.

Not sure about needing to remove the fuel line but start and see if you do.

Hope this helps and good luck removing those bolts!

This is a clip from a guy that installed a 1" body lift. Just some info for you.

Well here goes.
Front bumper has to be removed to access the retaining nuts.(front mounts).
Yes you can do it in your driveway. I used two bottle jacks. I jacked body, front first then rear. I jacked it from the tire to the inner fenderwell to lift body (no problem).
You have to stripout the complete interior floor to access the body bolts. Then remove the bolts for the fuel fill.
My van is extended type---I used 14pcs of 3 1/2 round by 1 thick by 3/8 hole in center and 2pcs of 3in round by 1in thick by 3/8threaded. The extended van needs the 3in block standard van does not need.
You do not have to worry about the C/G---1in

Nothing else is needed just lift install and tork. I was amazed to see even the fan shroud lined up better with the lift.
Hope this helps!!!

As VMCFred ,mentioned, if possible do one side at a time to avoid body shift. All good jeep lift kits (of which there are thousands) recommends this method.

Great, sounds simple enough. I‘ll order the parts and expect/ report the problems coming! :-)

About to order parts and 2 questions popped up:

1. Is there any reason to NOT by the Dorman‘s from Rockauto? What would be the alternative?

2. Dorman states different positions. Any idea how it‘s being counted? They have „1“, „5“ and then „2,3,4,6“. Is this counted from the front to the back and I need each position twice?
