Found this DIY folding bed youtube video

Ive been searching for a folding sofa/bed option for my van build and have come across many options. However, most options are not cheap and shipping is another thing. Im looking for that RB50 type set up. I ran across this youtube video thats shows you how one guy builds his sofa/bed and he includes the drawings. I want to build this bed but Im not sure I can fab up the main pivot bracket. First off what do you guys think about this guys seat? Also any of you fab guy want to make me some brackets? Im not sure I can post this video so if I can't just delete this posting.

Texas-I changed my profile. I just ordered and installed some of your swivels in my new to me 2014 E350. My plan is a simple build if thats possible. If I keep lurking inside this site I may end up with a pop top and 4x4 conversion.

Thanks re: the swivels! Let me know if any questions.

re: hinges - there are sets of hinges from $15 to $200. Lots in the $30 per pair range. You can make the support surfaces for the seat cushions and the frame from plywood. A reasonable quality purchased new will be around $1200. They pop up used, every now and again.

If you want to go inexpensive but really functional and cool - check
out boywonder's build thread around post #99

You can logout anytime you like, but you can never leave
