97 SMB camper conversion, low miles
.. was just posted on CL. As always, don't know the seller, never seen the vehicle before. Really low miles, looks clean. Looks like a E150 .. asking price is less than getting a PH top installed.

Good Luck,

.. heck, that was fast. There wasn't a phone number listed otherwise I would've included it.
Here was the ad:

Re: 97 SMB camper conversion, low miles
I saw the original ad right after you posted it - that truck was CLEAN! For $6K that might have been the deal of the century, or maybe the owner realized that he was way low and pulled it after getting tons of communications.

The ad had been edited before it was deleted. Price had been increased to $7,800.

Re: 97 SMB camper conversion, low miles
It's back up again.
$12,800 now....still a not-bad price for that rig with 18,000 miles...though I do see a dent on the rear door under the right window, and the guy mentions peeling clearcoat on the van.
Kind of spartan interior though, and a bit weird layout....don't see a fridge....and no on-board propane either.

Price changing to demand, eh? Gotta hate realtime communication when it comes to good deals (as a buyer. Sellers win!).

Re: 97 SMB camper conversion, low miles
Hi,
There was a low mile 1991, 34,000 mis, that went to $19,000 on eBay last week. It was described as never used.
Cream puffs are out there.
Of course lots of old junk too. Depends on your mood...
Regards,
Gavin

Re: 97 SMB camper conversion, low miles
I dont see any vents or water and electrical hookups on the exterior. The interior cabinets don't look like SMB to me and the rear bed looks like only a child can sleep on it, but there aren't any seats other than the driver and passenger.
