I've seen several of the full-size Safari Condo pop-tops here on the east coast, usually built on Chevy Express bodies. From what I've seen they are very nice, with good build quality. I'd seriously consider buying one if they were available here in the states. A few years ago I call their office and asked about them doing a conversion, and they will convert a US-registered van if you bring it to them. Their wait at the time was something like 15 months, so it's not just SMB that has long lead times! I'm sure there would be some customs issues on the way back, though.

A friend of mind (Ultralite) recently got a pic of one at our favorite SP in Destin, Fl. Full size EB chevy with that same really cool mid-height angled pop top. I'd love to see one in person.
