Bad idea?
I'm kind of interested in this van, it's close to me, I've asked about the conversion but haven't heard back, I've seen very few conversions on a e350, assuming the conversion was done right, what say you.

It says E150 on the back door, where does the E350 come from? The VIN decodes as an E150. It looks like a nice conversion but I'd be concerned about it being overloaded.

My mistake I did mean e150, and over loading is one of my concerns, I'm curious about what axels were used on this conversion.

Auction ended but it's a Salem Kroger. Look at the paperwork, zoom in on bottom left and you'll see Salem Kroger on some of the paperwork. Old converter, in and out of business a few times I think. I think they are long gone now. Someone here will know.

they're gone, my phone wouldn't blow it up enough, there's things to like about it, but I know that's not the best conversion, not the worst either, pretty low milage too, not one bid, it's about 5hrs. from me, I thought about taking a look, I might.

Note E150 pre I think 2008 is a lesser gauge frame than e250/350. I think there are likely other differences as well. Maybe bcarington can chime in.
I would want to know if anything else is lower duty as well.
Right off the top - those are five lug wheels.

I know the e150 rear leaf springs were .5" to 1" narrower than the 250/350 springs. I wanted a leaf pack built for mine, but they didn't have leafs narrow enough, so I had to settle for blocks.
Never E150 again.

Hey Gramps! What year was your E150?
I think the '08 and up E150 had much in common w the E250 / E350 models ???

That one was a 93. So I would guess they came to their senses in 2008, 15 years later. Sounds about right.
