Strength and weight wasn't a factor for me. I simply don't have the tools and/or talent to weld aluminum. Some may claim I don't have the talent to weld steel either but as long as I have my cheap little Wire Feed welder and a Lincoln AC/DC Stick welder in the garage I will be trying to improve on every project.
