FB Marketplace (Albany, NY): '07 E250 2WD EB SMB, 64k Miles, Aluminess kit

I've been scanning FB Marketplace nationwide and found this E250 in Albany, NY. Interesting/unique setup with the Aluminess gear, hightop, granite paint code, 2WD on a E250 EB van. IIRC, this one has been posted for a while; I remember seeing it before (many weeks ago) but must have forgot about it. Looks clean. No affiliation, just sharing.

Seller's name is "DP Prichard"; sharing in case the ad expires, etc. and someone wants to look him up in the NY area via FB.

Judging from the foliage, those first couple photos were taken in the fall; maybe it's been for sale for awhile? Just speculation.

Also, nice touch with the countersunk Jeep Wrangler tail/indicator lights in the rear bumper.

That’s member CarlParr’s old Van. Sold it a couple years ago for a very nice 4x4 version w/trailer.
I have seen this van in person, and it looks better than the pic’s. It’s spotless (Carl took exceptional care of it). New owner obviously hasn’t put many miles on it.
Would be a great investment for someone.

Yes, this was my old van. I was the second owner. I bought it in "stock" Sportsmobile condition. The original owner bought it when he was 81 and sold it to me when he was 91. It had about 33k on the odometer and was garage kept in spotless condition. I added all the Aluminess goodies with the intention of keeping it forever. I already had my quote from UJoint when I found one that better served our needs at that time. Different floorplan (wife wanted an inside shower). DP bought it from me almost exactly 2 years ago, and I think made one trip in it before life changes parked it. I'll be glad to answer any questions about it. I think the price is very reasonable. I believe the van is in Hilton Head right now.
