Specter fuel and water containers
I just found a Canadian company that seems willing to ship Specter 5 gallon mil-spec Jerry cans to the US. They are pricey but they were the only place I could find.

I also found a different source for the Specter 2.5 and 5 gallon water containers. This place lists the fuel containers for a lot less but won't ship to the US.

That same guy sells on eBay as well. I thought he was based out of Florida.
I've bought some MFC parts through DS Tactical. Shipping is pricey, so you defintely need to make it worth your while. They do ship MWCs to the US.

Re: Specter fuel and water containers
Amazon carries civilian scepter water containers for $17, buy 2 and get free shipping. I am very happy with the set I bought.

Re: Specter fuel and water containers
As stated the scepter water is easily available in the US for cheap. I have several.
The gas can link is ridiculous! Why not just get a couple of NATO cans instead? I bought 4 nato for a little more than the price of 1 scepter in your link and they work great. Found them here.

That's where I bought mine. He has them stamped "not for fuel use" so they an be smuggled into California. My setup.

I'm also after several of the 10L water containers to sit on top of the Aluminess fuel box. Since shipping is pretty pricey I think I'll add a couple of the black 10L water containers to the order and use them to rig up a solar shower.

I looked long and hard at the NATO cans. Without being able to see how they were made I decided to pass on them. I've been burned in the past by buying something that looks good but turns out to be thin cheezy Chinese knock off stuff. Once again I'm willing to pay extra for the real deal.

Re: Specter fuel and water containers
...for what it is worth, I just acquired a size-able quantity brand-new, never-used, still-in-the-box Scepter MFCs in three varieties.
As some of you may remember I had been working on a way to acquire some additional new Scepter MFCs for a while, well, I found it.
I think I am stocked up for the Apocalypse now, but I have a repeatable process and could help others when the timing is right.
