Re: 6.0/7.3 injector stiction quick fix - Archoil AR9100
after watching all the vids, i with with the combo package and got both.
the oil part i will try right away since i just did an oil change, but wanted to check about the fuel portion. didnt want some crazy chemikill reaction happening from the 2 additives fighting inside my tank.

Re: 6.0/7.3 injector stiction quick fix - Archoil AR9100
After reading this thread, I purchased some of the oil additive, dumped it in as I just changed the oil and filters, and it runs so much better. The rough idle is all gone and the full power is back. Why didn't I know about this stuff before having most of the injectors replaced?

How many miles were on your injectors? I think we should all expect failure of one or more between 100,000 and 200,000 miles.
I ran Archoil for two oil changes and didn't notice much difference. Maybe the engine ran a little smoother but hard to tell.
I also blew an injector with archoil having been added in the previous oil change. To be honest I think I noticed the engine running better when I switched to 5W-40 T6 synthetic oil. But I'm going to try it again.

I have 127k on my injectors. Been using non-synth oil and cetane with every fill-up. I don't doubt that I'll need injectors at some point but why not stretch it as long as possible.

Re: 6.0/7.3 injector stiction quick fix - Archoil AR9100
Has me wondering if this makes a significant difference on a 7.3L?
There's a local diesel place that seems promising (really seem to know 6.0s and 7.3s, do their own transmission build-ups, do their own tunes), so I may ask their opinion next time I stop by.

I used the AR9100 on the last oil change

Re: 6.0/7.3 injector stiction quick fix - Archoil AR9100
ive got about 370 miles on mine since i poured it in. i wanna say mine has quieted down, but i have no real way to prove it. i dont think its any quieter accelerating, but at cruise speed the cabin seems to be considerably quieter. maybe im just dreaming its quieter, who knows. its hard to tell with out something to measure with. im told im deaf anyway, lol.
that said, i most definitely notice a difference at startup. the archoil didnt fix my sticktion immediately, but after a few drive cycles, i am getting a lot less stumble and is a lot more responsive before it reaches 100 degrees. i dont get on it and expect boost before its really warmed up, but it is nice not to have the van fall on its face when the gas is applied anymore.
are you guys who have tried this stuff going with the oil interval changes recommended?

Damn, and here I went and replaced the engine to get it to start and run like new.
My bad.
