Well, now that the oil pump failure thread had morphed into a coolant discussion, I'll mention that my plan at the end of summer is to convert my 7.3L over to ELC. Doesn't sound difficult, just time consuming and generates a significant amount of coolant-laced waste water that needs to be processed. Removing the engine block plugs and dealing with all the distilled water for the rinse won't be fun though.
May go with a coolant filter as well, though it doesn't seem to be as important with the 7.3L.
