I got the P0401 code. EGR valve problem. Set up scan gauge to monitor and found the valve is just not opening. It’s not that hard to replace, but just wondering other than not being able to pass smog, is there any problem running with a valve stuck closed. I can only see benefits, like no exhaust gasses passing through the intake. Am I missing something?
