Drawer latch

Sliding drawer above fridge and under counter comes open on really bumpy roads. It’s okay other times so I need an idea on how to latch it that can be done down here in Baja. Following Phil can sometimes be bouncy.

I had the same going on with two of my drawers a couple years back, but only when I had them filled.

If yours are the same, there is a small plate mounted on the top inside which protrudes down - this is what the latch catches to lock the drawer in place.
I simply unscrewed & removed the plate, then inserted a thin flat piece of rubber I cut to match the size of the mount. Screwed the plate back on and since have not had issue. The rubber lowered the plate just enough.
