Smile Finally joined the club!

After 4+ years of dreaming, scheming and planning, we flew out to Nashville the week before last and drove home in sportmobile3's former rig. Thanks to them for their hospitality and for taking such great care of the van for so many years. We are still in the getting to know you phase, but enjoying it tremendously. I am sure we'll be back here soon to share adventures and ask for more advice as we go. Many thanks also to the many people on here who have provided information and advice- a truly great forum! Very happy!

The box says "Hitch Box" on it. The previous and sole owner had it fabricated, and like it says, it fits in the receiver and bolts in a few places along the length of the square tubing. In this configuration you can't open the rear doors, but the box also has a couple of attachment points for 4 bikes they mounted back there, so multipurpose. I doubt we'll have a use for it so you might find it up for sale here soon. It measures 70x22x11, the front opens and locks.
