Hey Wanderer, are the 2 sensors on the brake master pretty easy to find? I'm thinking this is my last thing to check, except for the dashboard light.

Also is this brake pressure switch pretty easy to find? I found the thing that connects to the brake master cylinder online so I'm going to check it out tonight but I'm not very handy with wires (yet) so I'm not so sure about this jumper thing you're talking about.

Should I take this to a mechanic again? What am I trying to accomplish here, specifically? I just tried for an hour to liberate the cable coming from the MC from the giant cable snake. Made a little progress, but decided I should come in here and ask first lol

And is this manual what I'm looking for? https://www.repairmanuals.co/product...AaAnXTEALw_wcB

FYI, if you get the master cylinder sensor, you just need to plug it in to the harness, not actually install it on the mc for cruise to to work, although you should as it is one of the two brake sensors cc uses to shut it off if brakes are applied.

Do you mean just get a different one of these?

Yup, you got it, that's it.

For people with CC that's not working, that pressure switch is the 1st thing to check, they often stop working.

Unscrew old, replace with new, plug in wired socket, done. Place a rag underneath to catch the few drops of brake fluid that gets out, so it doesn't trash your paint down below.

Don't worry about air getting in the MC line, doesn't happen with this repair.

Wait really, that's it? I'm going to go buy a new one right now!

Also, I just moved to Del Mar! Hello new neighbor!

Thanks for the tip, I'll try this next.

I see that there are multiple versions of 3l3z-9f924-ab (brake cylinder sensor) out there. Some say cruise control, others don't, some have this little orange thing, others don't. Obviously I want the cruise control type, but does the little orange thing matter?
