My 2012 E350 lets in lots of dust from the trails. The weather stripping looks ok. Due to interior buildout I can no longer use the light through the crack method of looking from the inside out.
I would simply replace the weather strip but it looks perfect. Obviously it's letting air in from "somewhere" but how to tell where?
Anyone deal with this before and did you solve it? What worked for you?
My first SMB 2005 had multiple holes drilled thru flooring - under cabinets and sinks - and "nothing" going thru them ! I'd suggest crawling under the van at night - and shining a flashlight up into chassis flooring - and have someone else look inside the van as you move around - with several corks and liquid nails ready to stuff into any holes found. I found at least 5 such holes !

There are drainage holes behind the door trim at the very bottom. Exposed to the „outside world“.
Depending on whether or not your vapor barrier foils is still on, that might be another source
I used a roll of soft insulating tape used for house doors and ran it along the inside of all the door frames in the van where they shit and meet eachother. It drastically reduces the dust inside.
