Sold a '89 ambo to a guy with the 7.3. Wasn't too long he filled the tank with unleaded. Drove it to the lake, probably 10 miles, wouldn't restart. Drained the tank refilled with diesel, ran fine.

So I'm guessing party til you puke.

Talked to a ford diesel mechanic, said it was quite common. Because that model has the electric fuel pump it doesn't really hurt anything.
