Since I returned my HF 12 ton stands, I've been looking for some replacements, and wanted "pin" style stands since they give me more warm and fuzzies than the pawl type when I'm under the van.

So I bought a pair of these:

They are MASSIVE. .....as you can see in the pic with the generic 3 ton stand.

I have to tilt them on their side to get them under the van..and they are heavy...a bit of a PITA.....but no issue getting full axle droop if your jack goes high enough.

They are available on Amazon and a number of other places; I bought them from Home Depot Free shipping to store. They are Chinese and the box was hammered, but the stands are fine.

These come in low, medium and high sizes; these are medium. All three sizes are rated at 10 ton.

I did the same, returned the HF stands and bought the Sunex 1310 "medium" 10T stands. I haven't had a chance to use them yet, but so far they're doing a great job of holding up the bumper I'm building until I get around to finishing it.

Those are the only way to go for something almost overkill on safety. I'll trade the PITA these can be for their outrageous increased safe factor.

Sunex seems to be a quality company and enjoy a decent reputation overall---fair priced too IMHO.
