Looking for PDX-area 4x4 shop
Looking for recommendations in the Portland/NW Oregon/Vancouver area for a good 4x4 shop I can establish a relationship with. Nothing needed at the moment, but I’d like to have somebody on hand for regular maintenance and repairs when needed. I’d like to get away from my local dealer’s price gouging and that doesn’t even include the 4WD.
Anybody got a good one?

I would reach out to Agile and ask them if they could recommend someone in the PDX area... if you haven't already.

I take mine to Bridgetown Automotive. They work on a lot of Ford fleet vans for the local contractors so they have seen it all. Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. 17855 SE McLoughlin Blvd Portland, (503) 230-0620. They are very impressed with my van and love it.

Good idea, Mark. Thanks for the suggestion. I asked John back when I had it done and he didn’t have any. But things may have changed since then.

John at Quadvan knows his stuff. I know he can be hard to reach but I've been impressed with his knowledge and skill.

There’s a place called Robs Automotive or something out in Clackamas that I’ve heard good things about. No personal experience but if that’s your side of town could be worth checking out.

Thanks Whit and VanD. I sure wish I could get Mr. John at Quadvan on the phone. I had to practically sleep on his doorstep to get my tire carrier installed.

Matrix Integrated in Portland is an Agile / Owl dealer and works on Sprinters (among other vehicles they have a Land Rover specialist).
Mach1 Motorsport in Hillsboro is a diesel specialist and has in depth Ford Powerstroke knowledge.
