Not sure if this is the correct forum but I've recently been made aware of a new window film (aka tints) for the vehicle market. As of this writing I have absolutely no experience or knowledge beyond what I can post here:

Never vehicles have more and more complex glass so it seems the aftermarket is attempting to keep pace with OEM parts, perhaps doing them one step better by offering those innovations in a backward-fitting DIY application. Of special note to me was their acoustic film--I
might see if I can secure a small sample and DIY it on my own 2005 E350 extended body. It'll go on the front doors only however if I read correctly it could also be re-fitted to the windshield as well.
