Our 2015 Ford Transit is now a Sportsmobile!
We went to get/brought home our newly converted 2015 Ford Transit from Huntington, IN on Tuesday, July 28. All in one day: 5AM - 10:30PM, 800 miles. BTW - it got 18.1 mpg on the trip home. Apparently it weighs 6,439 lb now. In general, we're pretty pleased with it - more later as we experience it all.
Rather than post a bunch a pictures, I filmed a video tour of The Tan Van (as we call it) and posted it out to YouTube: https://youtu.be/hGsPWg79cgE. Let me know if you can't see it.

Nice! If I had to choose between Transit and Sprinter I would go Ford. Better dealer network and cheaper maintenance/parts. The EcoBoost is pretty amazing. Happy trails!

Yes, you're totally right - it is gray! We kind of developed the name when we ordered the van from our dealer and waited 3 months for it to arrive. The color is "lunar sky" and from the small photos we saw on-line and in the brochure ( http://www.ford.com/services/assets/Bro ... &year=2015, page 29) we thought it looked tan. Oh, well - we've never seen one in this color so it won't get mixed up. We still like our Tan Van, even if it is gray.

It does look a bit tan in the brochure.
Neat color.

Your Van looks great. I am planning on a Transit also, I agree with you the Ford network is better than Mercedes.
Best of luck, and happy travels.
