Spam private messages?

Recently I’ve gotten three very similar DMs about “want to buy” posts that I did a long time ago. Curious if anyone else is getting these, too. Senders are new forum “members” with no posts, referring me to an AOL or Gmail address. Wording seems to be auto-generated based on my original post subject/title.

I just got one from a George Smith telling me his friend Charlie in Tx has a 2009-2019 SMB for sale. I am definitely not looking to buy one but to sell one.�� I sent Charlie an email asking to send me pictures and he said he will build whatever I need??? I will take good care of you. Send me a picture on what your looking for so I can help you better.

I have heard of this on another forum. It's a phishing scam.

I’ve gotten two of these in the past week or so. One from George Smith and another from Laney189. Both were in response to a long forgotten WTB post.

Send 'em images of currency including US cash, gold bullion--ask if they yet more details?

I also got the tire message yesterday... I though it was from an old posting of mine. Guess not.
