Re: Wish we had Iveco 4x4 as an option in the US

Hi,

After reading the following preview of a great book on Iveco 4wds it looks like the brakes and transfer case may be the weak links.

Here's the link to a great book:

http://www.blurb.com/books/6421794-comp ... 4x4-55s17w

A $7 instant download.

Free 42 page preview too.

Regards,

Gavin

Have you driven an Iveco Daily 4x4 55S17W?

The one I rode in was 2wd but I can't imagine the 4wd front end riding any better.

So does my relatively light SMB 4x4 since I put on the FOX built SMB shocks. I really miss those 10 year old-Rancho's! Any speed bump over 2 MPH is a real no-no.

Really, all I've heard is good about Fox.

Back on topic, I really don't care about how the Iveco drive, I drive vehicles like that all the time. I just want something that is built for heavy duty travel. My Ford is fine but I'd rather have something like we have at work that can be trashed and never breaks. Not saying the Iveco's are a solution...don't know how tough they really are even though they look that way.

If some of you didn't bother to view the 2nd videos posted in the previous page I suggest you check it out! Not solely to brag about the Iveco but the video quality is very good and it's entertaining. Plus they have one of my old van following along (a Mitsubishi Delica)...
