I finally had time and a borrowed garage to work on the Espar heater. I disconnected the fuel line behind the fuel pumps and installed a temp line to a gallon of kerosene. Tried to get it to fire...

Not much smoke at all. Very thin wisp of gray, close to none. It cycled two times each time I started it and then shut itself down both times. I went and topped off the fuel since I was below 1/4...

I just tried to fire up my Espar diesel furnace to make sure it would work for the winter months. I got nothing but cold air out...

I would say it has run at the middle of the temp dial most of the time. I was told recently by the service tech that it should be run on high 20 minutes a month to help keep it clean. I...
