Re: Espar Heater Problems

I finally had time and a borrowed garage to work on the Espar heater. I disconnected the fuel line behind the fuel pumps and installed a temp line to a gallon of kerosene. Tried to get it to fire three times. The fuel pumps run and the fuel flows, but nothing but cold air comes out. Each time the furnace starts it tries twice to fire and both times on all three attempts it did not fire and heat.

If you have read this thread you know last fall I spent over a $1,000 dollars on getting this heater serviced to make it work. I used it a couple of times since then and it is not working again.

I gotta say, for the $3,000 dollars this heater cost from SMB, and after the $1,000 I spent last year on it, I would not tell anybody to buy one....
