Totally stock 2007 Quigley setup. Ramsey noticed a bunch of things on my front suspension he hadn't seen on other Quigleys, so it sounds like they make a lot of changes on the production line. Maybe mine is the oddball that doesn't have clearance issues with 315s.
When we bought our van, Quigley told me the biggest tires they recommend were 285 (or 33" diameter). I've run 315s since the van was new and never had any issues with rubbing or clearance. The back bottom of the front fender wells were cut back a bit when the Bushwacker flares were mounted so that no doubt helped. The rear tires will rub the front bottom of the fender flare if flexed a bunch off road.
The logical choice for a heavy van that will never be a rock crawler is 33" tires - less expensive, less weight, better clearance, and better braking and fuel mileage. Of course I made the illogical choice of going bigger, but honestly have no regrets. The additional diameter is a benefit off road and in deep snow. I've got 54,000 miles on this set of tires and there is still a lot of tread left. Far exceeded my expectations.
To be honest, it would be best to have all of the fender wells trimmed back for more clearance. Agile Offroad did that for an older Sportsmobile that will run 37" tires. I remember somebody on the forum posting about their new Sportsmobile running 35" tires that got stuck in the sand in Baja and ripped both front fender flares completely off. That would be a huge bummer, especially on a brand new $100k vehicle.
If you are upsizing tires, it would be beneficial to buy from a shop that will let you swap if the bigger ones don't fit.
