Re: Quigley and QuadVan - FOX Shox Ride Improvement Package
took 6 people up to our local ski hill to do some road repairs before this weekends race last night in the van. when the pavement ends, the washboards began. i watched everyone in the van brace for the shakedown. tore right into the washboards about 40 mph and it was smooth as butter. 3 of the 6 people commented on how nice it rode accross the garbage road and how they couldnt carry that kinda speed in their own trucks without rattling out thier teeth.
just thought id share in case there were still people on the fence about ramseys kits

Re: Quigley and QuadVan - FOX Shox Ride Improvement Package
REF,
I had new Ranchos put on before I picked it up at SMB Texas. I will wait to hear from Agile, but it seems it is not an expensive thing to replace the bushings and Quigley recommended steering stabilizer. May go ahead and do that. The Van has about 75,000 mile on it so I suspect these types of things will need to be done. I just need to crawl under it and see if I can do myself or need to take it in.

He might be finalizing his Casa del Cabo purchase down south.

He's trying to finish renovating the Carlsbad place as the sale is supposed to close in 12 days.. And he's got at least two vans in the shop right now, but I'm sure he'll get back to you!

Re: Quigley and QuadVan - FOX Shox Ride Improvement Package
Unfortunately there are only seven days in the week and 24 hours in the day - you would have to see how many plates I have to keep spinning to believe it. Literally dozens of unanswered calls, 100 unopened emails... I got home tonight at 10:30 and have only gotten back to a couple request in the last 1.5 hours - everything takes too long.
I spent several hours this evening driving between five different parts houses trying to source parts for a van we converted to D50 TTB (that is the easy part) - the parts I was looking for were to install the GM Corporate 14 Bolt Full Floater rear axle the customer supplied and convert it to disc brakes - got everything installed or mocked up for Glen to finish in the morning and locked the door at 9pm. The van goes next door tomorrow morning for paint - so it needed to roll and stop.
It is hard to answer the phone when you are under a van, building shocks or at the parts counter. Catch me while I am driving and I'll give you a whole 30 minutes or more as I did with one customer today that wants to bring their new to them SMB in for 4X4 conversion.
Not complaining... just explainin'!
I do keep track of every phone call and every email in an Outlook folder named after the individual, so nothing is lost - just me.
