Stunning is a good word. I need 4x4 here in mountainous CO and I would hate to take out the Agile stuff to do the conversion. Have to figure out how to carry skis.

Thanks for the compliments, guys.
Yes, indeed I was quite aware my statement could ruffle some feathers. It was definitely not my intention. However, anyone that has owned an SMB, seen them built, or knows about fabrication can't disagree with what I'm saying. It simply is the truth.
I dreamed of owning an SMB for 25 years. It really was an ideal and what it represented in the way of fun for me. However, after finally getting serious about buying one that I was shocked with what I found. Thus the build-my-own. I'm certainly not saying SMBs are not worthy. I'm simply saying my rig is different.

I think that's fair to say. SMB makes a good product for sure, or they wouldn't have stayed in biz this long. However, there are numerous threads of SMB owners on here mentioning poor craftsmanship and quality, usually by smb owners themselves so I wouldn't think they'd take offense to your comment. We totally understand you weren't bashing their product, and hopefully nobody took offense. When done right, there is no comparing a one-off, detail focused build (like yours) to the mass(ish) production route.
