SOLD: LIFELINE Batteries
Hi all,
I am selling two 12V LIFELINE AGM GPL-27T batteries. They were purchased in March of 2018 and although lightly used, the average lifespan of a properly maintained battery would be 5-8 years. They were recently in use and being kept charged by a 320 watt solar system and Trimetric battery monitor. Included are two Norco battery boxes and straps. They are currently being maintained with a Battery Tender and are holding at 13.28V each. They sell retail on Amazon for $359 each -I am asking $400 for both. I have since moved on to a battery bank of four 6V. Local pick up please, as they are 70 lbs each. PM if interested.

I think you're asking a very fair price, but you're biggest challenge is finding someone local to you.

Thanks Herb!
I'm open to shipping them at a pass through cost. Heavy -might be expensive!

Physical size might be an issue for some. 100 AH batteries are kind of small compared to the standard 4D 210 AH batteries commonly used in SMB builds. I'd at least give out the size of the battery boxes so people know if they can fit them in. Probably perfect for a bass boat though. Know anybody who owns a fishing boat?

I thought it might be worth mentioning that because these batteries are AGM, they do not need to be in boxes or vented.
Here are some dimensions:
Norco Box Mfr Part # HM327BKS
Outside Length 17-3/4
Outside Width 10-1/8
Outside Height 10-1/2
Inside Length 14-1/2
Batteries GPL-27 100 Ah each - 200 Ah (parallel)
Length 13.09"
Width 6.6"
Height 9.25"
Weight 62 lbs
Comparison to a 4D Battery 210 Ah
Length 20.87"
Width 8.23"
Height 8.23"
Weight 134 lbs

David, what 4d battery has 210 amps. I’m new and starting to shop for batteries. Space for me is not a problem as my batteries now are mounted under van at spare tire location.

Hi 1MOBITE, yes that is the voltage after being off the charger for a day. The serial numbers are a couple numbers off and where purchased at the same time. I can send the numbers to you later today. PM me with your best contact information. Thanks

I would have expected a day enough time to remove surface charge, but 13.28 V does not sound correct ( it actually sound like the float voltage). You should apply a load to remove the surface charge; apply a 25 amp load for three minutes and wait five minutes, or...With a battery load tester, apply a 150 amp load for 10-15 seconds. ( From 12 Volt Side of Life). We would expect healthy batteries to be sitting around 12.8 volts, but that voltage would not really indicate the capacity of the batteries. A battery that has lost 75% of its capacity could still show good a good sitting voltage.
