Man, that's a bummer. My condolences for his family and for all of you who knew him. Thank you for sharing this with all of us.

Re: Send good vibes

Does anyone know of any arrangements for Jamie? I'm sure it's about to happen or perhaps already has. I realize we are a worldwide (albeit mostly nationwide) forum, so it's possible that many of us might have very different ways of dealing with death than the typical old fashioned funeral. Perhaps even nothing at all, but I guess in my own way and for my own reasons I'd like to know where he literally is and/or what the family is doing. If it's none of our business, no problem, but I wonder if I'm alone here. I'm sure if we were all together we could have a formal moment or some such.
Anyway, I'm ramblin', but if anyone knows what is next I'd love to know. Maybe a local obit from the paper at least?

I was reading a forum post earlier today where he had given some good advice, and it was too weird to think that the person giving that advice isn't around anymore. It put things in a different light for me.

Anyway, still kind of down about Jamie and I guess I just miss hearing him chime in.

"I'd like to know where I can make a contribution."

Please see the thread "Shoutout" and consider... I think Jamie would approve

Thank you “Twogone” for your comment regarding making a contribution to the Forum in honor of Jaime. I was considering a memorial contribution to the Forum, but until your comment I was not sure it was appropriate. I was not fortunate enough to know Jaime personally, but I certainly enjoyed and benefitted from his many posts and am glad I now have a way to show my appreciation and respect.

Re: Send good vibes

I am new to the forum, but have seen many of the contributions made by Jamie. He seemed to be an amazing guy, and I feel will be sorely missed. RIP Jamie, and my prayers tonight will be with Suzann and their families.
