While this is a shot of our “camp”... we are currently hunkered down in both vans on our property in southern Nevada while our tiny house is being built.

Nearly every morning a couple of hot air balloons fly over. This was a couple mornings ago just after sunrise.

I didn’t realize they were overhead until they turned on the burner as they were coming down a tad fast for landing... which they did about 200 yards from the vans.

It seems like forever ago that we took the BEAST out for a little R&R. We ran up to the mountains above Big Bear lake and did a quick overnighter in the Yellow Post area right after the 4th of July weekend:

Wow! This shot blows me away.

The scale of it all, and the perspective... I just wanna be there

Fantastic photo - Post that on the Van Life sites, and all our rigs will go up 15k in value...trade-off would be our sense of obligation to pick up the trash from previous yahoo's

the one time we tried to camp back there they were kicking people out due to heavy bear infestations. 2-3 years ago maybe? hope they dont close it all out. that pic is great. looks like a great spot.
