The White Mountains, CA, August 2019
Spent four nights atop the Whites of eastern California a few weeks ago. I go there often and enjoyed visiting my favorite places again. First pic is a drone image of my camp in Cottonwood Basin, a 4x4 low range descent into this jewel of a canyon. Others are the landscape photography I do up there. Many are from the Patriarch Grove area. Enjoy!

Great pic's
I have visited the Whites for years. My fav was Deadhorse which I assume is no longer accessible.
Where do you catch the road into Cottonwood?
Is there a stream in the camping area pictured?

First image was made with a Phantom 4 Pro. The rest with my Canon 5dsr and likely a 70-200 f2.8L IS II or 16-36 f2,8L II with a Gitzo CF tripod.

Never heard of a place called Dead Horse up there. Road to Cottonwood basin is off the Crooked Creek Road off the White Mtn road. Yes, there is a stream along the last section of the road. Aspens and wildflowers thrive there.
