Can you wire your solar controller to your distribution block instead of to your battery bank? Batteries would be wired to distribution block with proper gauged wires. Would be much easier for me than to run separate cables from the batteries to both the solar controller and the distribution block. Plus, I have fuses on the block, so I can fuse the incoming solar accordingly.
While I did my different your method, you should be fine. I prefer to have less connections between the panels to CC and also less connections between the CC and battery bank. Then I wired up a blueseas fuse block directly from the batteries for stuff...

THinking the same. It all comes in parallel at some point. as long as you have fusing and the necessary switches etc, you can bring them all into the block.
This all depends on the size of the wiring for the distribution block and what you were running from the controller. You would not want to to to a smaller cable then what you were running from the controller. Also make sure that you are adding in the wire from the battery to fuse block when calculating out your voltage loss.
