c1095 pump motor circuit failure 2006 ford e350

Hey gang,

Swapped rear axles on my 2006 from the factory semi float to a 99 rear axles full floater.

After the swap ABS light came on.

See attached.

Ford mechanic ground the brown wire and applied 12v to the red wire. Pump motor ran. So I believe it’s the ABS module. See attached diagnostic procedure.

Ford doesn’t make these anymore so I’m limited to used, reman and possibly aftermarket.

Has anyone resolved this issue before?

Tried sending in your module for a fix like a place linked below?

Have you confirmed the pump motor or module itself is indeed the issue? Seems to my (failing) memory the 2000 axle possibly has the center differential sensor that's part of the chassis ABS system? (My own 2000 E-250 has one of those, stock from day one.

Besides the procedure recommended I’m not sure how to isolate the pump from the module.

I will check the diff and rear right sensors however.

ABS sensors are the same for the e-series from 90-07.

Check the reported wheel speed at the computer with a scan tool, if all axles are reporting accurately then its likely the module.
