Re: Leaf Springs

I had 315/75/16 on my van with SMB 4x4 conversion on stock springs and mine was an 06. I think with a 17" rim it might rub up front on full turn. Maybe not? Mine was close with 16" rim.

Re: If you sold your Sportsmobile, why?

I sold for several reasons. I have a family of four and it got too cramped with 2 growing boys and gear. It started to take us 45 minutes + to set up and stow gear at camp.

We also go skiing a...

Re: Penthouse-Power or not?

It requires a bigger hole cut in your roof to accomodate the scissor lift and equipment. This is the main reason why it is so expensive to have it retro fitted. They have to take off the top...

I went the first year in Ellensburg but didn't go last year. Not sure if I will make it this year since that is our prime traveling and exploring time.

Re: Hitch Motorcycle carrier feedback please

My handlebars hit my spare tire and that is before compressing the front forks to tie it down with ratchet straps to the carrier. This is with the 14" extension. The spare is a 34" tire.
