I tried calling Sky offroad today 4-12 about the superduty rear spring swap kit but they dont answer the phone and direct you to email them. On top of that they are only open monday - thursday 9-4. I was going to order one of their kits and try it out but i had an entire list of questions for them before i committed to ordering.

My primary concern is the length of the superduty springs behind the axle centering pin the E350 springs are 31" inches and the 08-16 F-series springs are 33-3/16" inches. I have room to relocate the forward bracket but i have no room to move the rear shackle bracket due to a water holding tank.

You could use something like these to decrease the rear set back some.

The Sky brackets allow you to swap over to 08 - 16 F-250/350 springs which are considerably longer than the E-350 springs. The front bracket has to be relocated forward on the frame rail to accomodate the longer front half of the spring. The front half being the distance from the center pin to the bushing eye. The rear half of the F-350 spring is right around 2" inches longer than the E-350 spring. Thats where the problem arises.

The leaf spring center pin has to be centered in the wheel well or pretty darn close to it. That leaves a guy with a spring thats roughly 2" inches longer in the rear than the original van springs.

Thats one of the questions i have for Sky Offroad, does their kit already take that 2" inches into account on their rear shackle flip bracket if its installed on an E-350 versus a ford pickup truck.

I assume what youre getting at is to move the front bracket forward further on the frame rail to move the spring forwards, and then install the relocation plates to set the axle back closer to center? But then that involves special axle brackets to compensate for the center pin and offset of the axle. I will just wait and try to call Sky Offroad again later today.
