I had a leaky Vacuum line and bladder on mine.. So its a very good idea to look at that

Not saying they don't make a great product. Just saying I need to make sure I don't have a bad power booster, master cylinder or worn out brake lines, everything is adjusted and working properly before dropping that kiind of coin.

Also not sure what your meant by remaking the wheel?

Yep def gonna look into the booster and m/c. Gonna make sure the rears are adjusted and prob replace all rubber hoses in the brake lines. Will look at the Willwood info you sent when I get a chance.

Thanks!

If your changing the lines anyway you might consider upgrading to stainless steel braided lines. Eventually the old ones expand leading to a spongy feel at the pedal. I sourced mine from Crown Performance.

That's a good idea, I think. The stock brakes on these vans actually are not that bad, although I realize once you put larger diameter tires on them that starts to change things. Also, if you decide to put upgraded brakes on you'll need to attend to all that stuff anyway.

Yep was thinking the same thing. If I'm gonna replace it I might as well upgrade it.

I installed a set of Power stop drilled and slotted rotors that quickly rusted so badly that the slots and holes were completely filled with rust within a couple months. I'm sure that was due in large part to what ever kind of de-ice compound is used on the roads in Montana. Still, nothing else rusted that badly, and Power Stop replaced them under warranty with a set of coated rotors that haven't rusted at all.

Vanzila,
I’m in line at UJoint with SSBC added, didn’t find SSBC for my rear so planning to keep my standard Powers Stop combo. Are you saying SSBC offers a combo for the rear on a 06 DSL?
