I think a couple of donuts in 4 low across the vendor's front lawn ought to verify the 4x4 function...
All I want is someone to lock the hubs, put it in 4 low and try a slight turn. On pavement it'll show quickly. In fact as long as all the equipment is in place, axles, driveshafts, transfer case, et al, and it changes up and down out of 4x4 I'll be happy. It's a project truck. Function is fine. All the parts there is better.
Anyone who has used a 4x4 for a short period of time would be able to handle it.
