off the shelf braided brake lines for E-series

I've been searching for some slightly longer than stock braided front brake lines for my 2008 E-350.

The only off-the-shelf offering that I can find are the Weldtech lines, which appear to be back ordered. They are $230+shipping....

Is anyone aware of other suppliers offering an off-the shelf solution?

For those that have had custom lines fabricated how did the cost compare to the above $230?

..and does anyone happen to know how much longer the Weldtec lines are compared to stock? There is zero detail on the website.

https://crownperformance.com/ has been my go-to for years.

If you look through the Dorman website, they usually list dimensions of parts like brake lines and such. Good place to get a reference dimension

If you replace them with rubber lines be sure that they clear your tires. The reason I went with braided stainless lines was that I found the BFG K02 tires on my van rubbed on the brake lines at full lock and were slowly wearing away the outer rubber.

When I did my FF axle swap in 2015 I sourced 5 custom length stainless brake lines from Crown Performance. Cost was $180 w/ shipping.

I replaced my front brake lines with custom length stainless steel ones two years ago. They cost $225.00 a pair from a shop here in Portland. I do not remember the length although I can measure them for you.

I can look up the Summit part numbers for mine when I get home in a week or so. I seem to remember they fit a lifted Bronco. Summit lists tons of sets for fords with many listing lengths in the descriptions. Here’s a random one for a bronco https://www.summitracing.com/parts/r.../ford#overview

I believe (gotta find them amongst all my unused parts) I have a set of extended brake lines (crown performance, they seem to make them for most of the companies that sell them). I think the ones I have are for a 2008 Ford F250/350 , so I'm not sure if they will work. But I suppose if your axle is an 08, then it will.

I'm away until April 27. I can look for them when I get back. They are brand new, my project ended up using different parts. I will let them go for cheap if they will work for you and you can wait.

Yes, I'm interested. when you get back if you can measure the length and post pics of each end that should tell me if they will work.

Here's my short brake story.....

The 4WD conversion was done by Advanced in Salt Lake City and the front brakes were Chevy parts (I bought the van used).

I've since modified the front brakes (designed and fabricated new caliper stands) to 14" F-450 rotors and stock 2008 E series calipers.
