Part number needed

Do you have the part numbers for the shocks, springs and stabilizer? Thank you in advance 🙏🏻

BajaSportsmobile (Ramsey) was a friend to many of us who passed away years ago. He was the founder of Agile Offroad. His partner John took over and still runs it, so far as I know. You could probably reach out to Agile directly to answer your question if no one here knows.

You really should measure your suspension ‘travel’ prior to duplicating what someone else ordered…height/lift differences change from van to van. I ordered rear Fox shocks from SMW shortly after I purchased the van, and tore them up in less than a year. I assumed they were sold because all the vans are fitted the same - evidently not the case. I simply needed ones with a longer travel.

Give Agile a call, or one of their partners like Main Line Overland. I spoke with Jesus at Agile and he asked a few questions about my van to make sure they sold me the correct shocks, with the correct valving. Their prices are very reasonable. At the time, they were nearly identical to Summit Racing's price on non-custom Fox shocks.

It pains me to see rear shocks mounted like in the above photos, with no protection to the shaft especially.

At least on my van, the rear shocks are constantly blasted by a spray of rocks and gravel coming off the front tires...where I live in Nevada we have a lot of good dirt roads I can drive at ~ 50 mph. Some years ago I replaced the shocks and didn't put the rubber boots on because I'd heard talk that the boots just capture dirt. 200 miles of dirt road later and the rear shocks were ruined. The shaft was pitted badly and all the oil had leaked out.

Sandblasted shock body:

Now the shocks on all my rigs wear rubber gaiters. No more problems.

Wow, this thread is a blast from the past. It was fun reading Ramsey’s reply’s but they made me a bit sad too. He was a great friend to everyone and we did several wonderful trips with him, he’s greatly missed. As for getting the correct shocks and springs, give Agile a call, they are the experts. I also recommend boots since I too wrecked a rear pair due to gravel spraying the shafts.

John’s still the man at Agile and probably the definition of an expert in van suspension. 100% on the boots for the rear shocks. I’ve had mine for probably 6 years and they’ve not been treated kindly but are still going strong. Agile tuned Fox’s…second set I’ve had on two different vans. 100% pleased
