Like this? My '06 had the kind I think you're talking about, before I swapped them out (long since sold).

Re: Tow mirrors
That is them. I have seen them on 03s. The problem is there are a bunch on eBay, but hard to tell if they are knock offs or take offs.

Which reminded me.
I was out with group of H2's once and really liked the fact that their mirrors were power folding. Anyone ever see a power folding version of the Ford tow mirrors? Power folding as in push switch while going through brush and the mirrors fold flat against the body.
|
Some of the 08+ F350 tow mirrors (square ones) are power folding, they actually fold flat when you turn the ignition off. They fit the older F trucks, and since the F trucks fit the E vans, I "assume" they will also fit the van.

Tow mirrors
I found a set on eBay that were powered for 185. They were oem takeoffs for an ambulance. On another note I scored a webasto airtop 2000 for $75 that is almost new. Van is getting heat for winter!!!!!!!!! It pays to join the truckers forum and watch the classifieds. I am so excited for winter snowmoboarding!

Re: Tow mirrors
I did a quick ebay search for 'E tow mirror' and this is the first listing:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-10-FO ... 23144bcfbc
OEM power tow mirrors. $185
Probably the same place I got mine from, an ambulance manufacturer.

Tow mirrors
FYI here is the link to the truckers forum where one might find a cab heater.

Re: Tow mirrors
For anyone who really, really, really wants power folding mirrors, here's your chance. Note these are the '08 and beyond style mirrors, and no indication is given if they're compatible with the E-series, but they do say they're compatible with '99-'07 SuperDuty trucks.
'08 mirrors with power fold/extend $1999.99
Or if you just like the look of the '08 power mirrors they're available for $899.99, a proverbial bargain.

What do you think a fair price is to buy these at? I found some OEM take offs (not knock offs) for $65ea.
