2006 E350 Ambulance 19k miles 73" headroom

2006 Ford E350
Low miles - only 19k miles, runs very smooth.
Full maintenence recently performed, including new turbo.
Wheeled Coach ambulance conversion package - ultra high quality aluminum box.

This is an excellent candidate for a conversion to a camper van. The rear box is over 6' tall, which is very hard to find, yet very desirable for a camper/RV build out.

Box dimensions:
71-73" interior height
12' Long
8' Wide

The box is in excellent shape, and all aluminum construction means it will never rust. Interior lights, AC power, and DC power. Lots of internal and external storage already built in. The frame/underside of the vehicle is in amazingly clean condition. Ultra low mileage 6.0l powerstroke diesel. Runs very smooth, and provides plenty of power.

The bad: Unfortunately, when this ambulance was removed from service, the fire department spray painted over the decals instead of removing them properly. The right solvent and some effort should be able to clean this off effectively. The vehicle also needs new tires - the current tires are getting low on tread.

This vehicle would make a great camper van. It is very hard to find these ambulance boxes with an interior height over 6'. This, combined with a very clean low mileage vehicle make a very solid platform to build off.

Located in Bend, Oregon.

Asking $16,000

This has the 6.0L powerstroke diesel.

For those concerned about the 6.0 - it should be stated that they have much better longevity in the van chassis. They are de-tuned, and not prone to head studs failing like the over-tuned trucks.

I will look for an idle hour meter when I visit the vehicle this weekend. I have it parked in storage.

Guys, if you grew up in the era of 6.0 fear, just do your homework. "Bulletproofing" the 6.0 is a reasonable cost, high reliability upgrade. I'd strongly consider a 6.0 project if you love diesels. More refined than the 7.3 and lacks the complexity of more modern rigs. Of course do your own research, but if you're in the market..........
