I lost my job just 3 months after I bought my dream project camper-van and have not been able to find consistent work since last October. So, sadly, I have to abandon my camper-van project. I've listed her on CL but I'd really like to see her go to a good home with someone on here who might finish the project.
When I say "project", I had big plans for this rig, including a 4x4 conversion with SMB forum member; U-Joint's kit, but didn't get anywhere near that far. Here are the specs:
*2000 Ford E-350 Super Duty extended 2wd cargo van with the awesome 7.3L Powerstroke
*Originally from Arizona till I brought it here to California a year ago, so it's totally rust-free!
*The body in general is in very nice condition, really clean. As is the interior.
*164,XXX miles. Purrs like a big diesel should, really nice running motor.
*It has the barn doors, which are a must if you plan to install oversized wheels.
*There are no windows in the cargo area, but can be added. I grew to like the windowless design since I park on the streets of a big city and liked the added security. I was actually planning to install a locking steel cab partition with interior dead bolts for the cargo doors...like a vault on wheels. I know that sounds extreme, but around here they'll break in to steal change from your cup holder.
*Has 1 rear bench seat with quick release clamps.
*Has the factory rear A/C and Heater option.
*The van walls and cab ceiling are insulated with aerosol foam.
*I installed 2 new Duralast Gold batteries.
*I had the Voyager style hi-top installed, and with all the rain we've had, I can promise you it does'nt leak...or squeak for that matter.
*Plenty of tread on all of the tires, including the spare.
*Tow hitch with 7-pin electrical connector and trailer brakes controller.
*Engine block heater for colder climates.
*It will be getting an oil and filter change before it's sold. Also, it has an alarm system which is not included and will be removed before sale.
Price is $7,900
I have a ridiculous number of pics on photobucket if you're interested:
