I did that a year ago, replacing my little used Baja Basket with a standard Baja Box and an attached Thule bike rack. It was a bit pricey at nearly $1K and Sportsmobile didn't send any instructions on how to atttach the hardware. I studied pics of Sportys with the bike rack and managed to cobble everything together.
I will post my pics of this process one of these days, if it is any help to folks.
