WTB: OEM Ford Chateau/Premium Captain's Seats

Hi everyone,

As I understand it, the captain's seats from the Ford Chateau and Premium trims would bolt right in to the OEM bench seat mounts for the second row (immediately behind the driver/passenger seat). I'm hoping to find one or two captains seats for sale so that we can replace our 3-person bench seat without having to drill into the floor and create new brackets.

Please let me know if you have any you are looking to sell! Located in Minneapolis, MN and willing to drive to pick up. Will also be driving from CO to MN in the next couple months so if you are along the way I could pick up then as well.

I've got a pair of captain's that have the ford bolt pattern. They were in the 3rd row position (second bench position) when I bought my 2013 15-passenger van, but are not stock ford. (It looks like someone welded a compatible plate to the bottom).
Located in Dallas, TX. Happy to sell them to you;otherwise, I'll keep storing them in the attic "just in case." PM me your email for pics if interested.

I don't have my van handy at the moment, but from what I've read the OEM captain's seats should use the same bolt pattern as the brackets used for the bench seat.

Yeah-- the 4-bolt pattern is something like 5.5inches wide by about 11 inches fore-aft.

Bumping this thread. Thought I had a lead on a pair of OEM seats but turns out my buddy still needs one of them. So... anybody have one or 2 rear OEM captain's seats?

Planning on driving from CO to MN at the end of May, if anybody is located along that corridor somewhere.

I've seen them at junkyards in Colorado. They usually are disgustingly dirty and smelly. Something about old chateau vans and their chain smoking owners. It is uncanny how frequent it is.

That's essentially every old Ford van at this point. I don't mean SMBs. I mean 'custom' vans and passenger vans of the 90s/2000s. By now they've almost all gone through a few owners and landed with the lowest common denominator.

Yep, the ones around here are definitely questionable...
