Re: Favorite Beers

Another vote for Pliny the elder. I once had the younger. Great stuff.
Sculpin or "enjoy by" (stone?) are very close seconds.
Coors light does just fine about half the time though.

Wow, how could it have been 4 years?

I recently had two amazing brews from, no kidding, Aass Brewery in Norway. I love the title, though I'm not sure if I'm pronouncing it right, but who doesn't love a nice piece o' Aass?

Juleĝl and Bayer were the two I had and they were phenomenal lagers, which I'm mostly a fan of.

Viejo Rojo by Tahoe Mountain Brewing.

Stopping by their restaurant in Tahoe City is worthwhile if you like beer and are in the area.

Bend Brewing Hophead (imperial IPA). Because it is what is in my glass right now (and it is fantastic)!

Rumor is that stuff (Dogfish Sea Quench) is amazing. I've got plans to try and track some down this weekend.

Coldfire Brewing here in Eugene is making some great stuff these days but it can only be found here I believe. If anyone passes through I'd recommed stopping by their tasting room. A little small and hard to find, but totally unpretentious and straightforward. And their beer is delicious.
